My very dear friend, Malia, has started a website called "Playdough to Plato." She has asked me to do the program she has created with Cooper and blog about it for the website. Of course, I jumped at the opportunity, not only because she is my best friend, but also because it sounded like fun and it would be good for Coop. This past weekend we did our first lesson and it was a great success. Tonight, we did our second lesson. Together, Coop and I made a book called, Cooper. Catchy title, huh? :) On each page it says something like, "Cooper swims." or "Cooper paints." Below each sentence, Coop drew a picture. He worked really hard and added so many details! He then read the book to me, then to his dad and then to me again. I was absolutely amazed at how his drawings skills have developed in the last few weeks. I was so impressed, amazed and proud that I nearly cried. Here is his book:
