Nana Heads Home

My mom flew back to the states yesterday. She left Sydney at 3:00 pm yesterday and texted me at about 2:15 pm today to let me know she arrived safely in Philly (she lives about 90 mn from Philly).  Wow, that is quite a trip. From Sydney she went to LA, then to Phoenix and finally to Philly.  I think she lost a day in there somewhere, but that may only be when you come this way. Anyway, we had a great visit.  We certainly kept busy with sightseeing, shopping, Starbucks trips, time in the park and, of course, eating. :)  We discovered a new Japanese restaurant that we both really liked and the day before she left, we took the boys there. They loved it too! Especially Tucker. Man, he chowed!  The boys loved having their Nana here.  They definitely got spoiled.  Lots of treats and toys and fun times playing around the apartment. When we went downstairs yesterday afternoon to get Coop from school, the first thing Tucker said as we left the building was, "Nana?"  Today when we left, Coop said, "Where's Nana McNana?" That is his name for her.  It will take the boys a while to adjust to the fact that she is gone.  Cooper still thinks she lives in the hotel in Tacoma where she would stay when visiting....
