Living in an apartment has a lot of pluses-- no stairs to climb, easy to clean, great views of the city and park, every kind of vehicle visible from multiple windows, constructions sites to study on the left and right, elevators and....
WINDOW WASHERS!
Today was a big day. Window washing day. The boys spotted the washers from the park across the street and were so happy to find their ropes hanging outside our window when we got home. Ropes mean that it was our day to have our windows washed. I am not sure how much better it gets for two little boys than this. I really think waiting for the washers to "appear" was almost better than waiting for Santa Claus! First came one foot, then two feet and then the washer appeared! You won't be surprised to learn that Cooper had a few things to say to the washer. The first was he wanted to tell him "that if he got sleepy he should stop..."
Once the washer was outside out window these are the things I heard Coop say to him:
"You are an excellent washer!"
"Have you been trained? Everyone needs to be trained like astronauts do."
"Looks even better already...and, it smells better too."
And then it was over. Now we have to wait 3 more months before they return. Can't wait to hear what Coop has to say to them then....
