Clovelly Beach (in summer)

Sunday morning, the boys and I donned our beach wear and headed to Clovelly Beach.  We had been there once before, but it was winter then so we expected it to be very different. And it was!  There were tons of people there swimming, snorkeling, wading, sunbathing and playing in the sand.  We spent most of our time playing in the sand. We also spent a lot of time trying to get our umbrella to stay up! Thankfully a nice bloke offered to help and it stayed up for the rest of the time there. Phew!  We did swim in the ocean. Well, Coop did and he loved it. He could have stayed in the water all day, but Tucker was really freaked out by the seaweed and did not want to linger very long at all.  After we finished our time at the beach, the boys got a treat and some french fries (they are so good there) and we went to wait for the bus to take us back home.  Just as we boarded the bus, the skies turned black and the lightening began.  We made it home just in time for a great thunderstorm and a nice, long nap.

Cooper is ready too, but won't look at the camera

tons of seaweed- Tuck hated it!

Coop loved the water!

Tucker was a little unsure and preferred the sand.

Digging is a favorite for Tucker.

Coop liked digging too, but preferred the water seaweed and all!
