Goodbyes are hard. They are especially hard when you have found someone who is truly unique and special. Today we said "goodbye" to Magda, our wonderful sitter who has been watching the boys every Thursday since July. Cooper and Tucker love Magda or "Magpie" as Tuck calls her. Magda and the boys spent hours together playing in the park and at the playground. They dug in the dirt, played Hide and Seek and waded in the fountains at the park. During their time together, Magda was completely devoted to the boys, their wants and their needs. I always came home to two happy (but exhausted) boys who had nothing but good things to say about their time together. To send Magda off "right," both boys drew her a picture and Coop and I made yellow cupcakes (her favourite colour) for a special treat.
It is not often that you find someone that you trust completely with your children, but Magda is one of those people. We hope she has a good time back home, but that she comes back to Australia VERY, VERY, VERY soon!
