Being Known April 19, 2011

To be known is to be at home. Not sure if I made this up or if I heard it somewhere along the way, but it is so true!  We are having a great time, but what I miss is being known and knowing. I miss walking down the street and recognizing faces and being recognized by others.  I  have seen many of you in other people here and have had to stop myself and say no, that is not so and so.  I miss knowing the local shops, restaurants and places for the kids to play.  I know, in time, things here will be known and I, too, will be known by others, but for now that is where I am.

  2. I understand completely.... but this will change with time...you are finding yourself anew. It all looks good from State-side. Love you all!

  3. Who are you? Cris and I are thinking of you as you adjust to your new digs. Always difficult, adjusting. Researchers suggest it takes an animal about a year to fully adjust to new surroundings. I really hope this helps. Seriously, thinking of you often as we know it stinks. Any new positions in the office there? Dean for the Dumais fam
