Kookaburra

You'd think that I would be over the amazement of seeing a Kookaburra by now, but I am not. It is still one of the most incredible sights I have witnessed while here in Sydney.  Today while we were playing in the park across the street, we were fortunate enough to see not one, not two, but three Kookaburras in the trees.  And, if that wasn't great enough, I actually got the three of them laughing on video. For some reason I cannot upload the video to my blog which bums me out so the photos will have to do. If you have never heard the Kookaburra's call, you are missing out on something amazing. It truly does sound like laughing- a sort of maniacal laughing that draws you to wherever they are. Tucker was somewhat dumbfounded by having Eleni in his bed.  He was quiet and just watched. He was not mad or upset at all.  The only time he said anything was when he noticed that both he 

and Eleni were wearing diapers. He pointed to his diaper and then to Eleni's and said with great gusto, "Butt!"

 He then proceeded to refer to Eleni as "butt" for the rest of the day....

Yahoo! We found some Halloween goodies at the dollar store!

Halloween buckets make great hats as well.  Cooper pretended he was a soldier, an astronaut and a few other things while wearing the hat/bucket.  The boys wore the hats all the way home and no one even batted an eyelash at them! Halloween is so under appreciated here.
