Nana Arrives Down Under

My mom arrived on Thursday to spend a few weeks here with us. The boys were so excited to see her! Cooper has plans, plans and more plans for his time with Nana. Of course, many of those so-called plans include Nana buying toys and treats for him. :)

The boys were with their sitter, Fleur, when my mom arrived. We waited in Hyde Park for the boys.  When Tucker saw her, he stretched his arms out wide, broke into a run and ran right into her arms saying, "Nana! Nana!" Cooper was just as excited to see her, but Tucker's reaction was so unexpected and so wonderful to witness.  Since she has been here we have played, been to the water playground, walked thru the city, eaten out, done some shopping, taken a train ride and, of course, visited Starbucks a "few" times. :) My mom and I were also able to go out for dinner on Saturday night sans kids! We had a great meal at a Japanese restaurant called, Wagamama.  They had the best sweet potato chips I have ever had in my life- strange I know.

Over the next few weeks, we plan to visit the zoo, a wildlife park or two, head back to the water park at least a few times, do a lot of the Chinese New Year activities in the city and, of course, visit Starbucks a few times along the way. :)  Below are some pics from her visit so far.

  1. Hey! I know that woman!! What a great time she is having with those two boys. We'll look forward to her return to the "Cove" and all the Aussie tales she'll tell.
