Here are a few photos from our last morning in the downtown Sydney apartment.

On Saturday we moved to our new place in Bondi Junction. What a change! There are tons of shops around- clothing, shoes, pharmacies or chemists as they say here and tons of restaurants, etc. We found a Mexican restaurant-- hallelujah! We were all thrilled. It is not American Mexican, but it sure tasted good. We also had some of the worst pizza we have ever had. That was a bummer. I am so craving a cheesy, greasy, yummy piece of pizza. Mmmmm. There is a gorgeous mall right across the street which doesn't make for the prettiest view from our windows, but it offers so much. There is a whole level dedicated to fresh foods and groceries. There is a huge kosher section which was interesting to browse through. And, there is a Target and Kmart close by as well. There are also a lot more families in the area. You see many moms with their kids in tow and that is a comforting feeling.
The apartment itself is smaller than the one we had in downtown Sydney and definitely not so hoity-toity (or puut-puut, Myriam!) There are two bedrooms, a small living room and a kitchen with the essentials. The pool is great as it has the stairs in the water which is perfect for the boys. Not sure what Coop will do when there is no pool to visit daily....
Here are a few pics from our apartment:

We have all now had this illness- mom had it first, then Doug got it, then Tuck (of course), then myself and now Coop. I was thinking how long it has been (knock wood) since Coop has been sick like this. He is so sweet he told me last night that he was waiting for the "special medicine that Tucker takes" and was "ready for a puff." I tried to explain to him that that medicine is not for all kids and that he is really lucky not to have to take it everyday like his brother. He looked at me with those big blue eyes (yes, you all know that look!) and said, "I won't even fuss. I will sit real still." Oh, my!
My mom left this morning. The boys loved having her here. She and Coop played and played and played while she was here. I have a lot to live up to in that department and not so much looking forward to all that playing. :) Tucker is still a mama's boy, but he enjoyed her company as well. It was really nice to have her company in the first month. Probably did a lot more exploring while she was here than I would have on my own. Thanks mom!
The Pugs are in route! I am so thankful for all the amazing folks at Chambers Creek Vet. They not only cared for their physical needs, but also took care of them "emotionally" as well. And, just got word they arrived safely in LA. On to Auckland, NZ and Sydney, AU tomorrow!!!
So the boys are relaxing with some "Calliou" we found at Kmart. Not my favorite show, but they are happy. I have a little unpacking to do, lunch to make and then some relaxing myself.
