Kids to Quarantine

Cooper and Tucker got to see the dogs for the first time today.  Manzie was back to her old self today (thankfully). She was thrilled to see Cooper. She kept jumping up on him and giving him kisses. She even knocked him over at one point. Tofie gave Cooper a few kisses, but was more interested in me. Tucker was more excited about seeing the dogs in the kennels on either side of our dogs and playing in their water bowl.  Nothing new there!

While we were there the Government Vet showed up to examine the girls.  They both "passed" their exam which means they are okay to do their 30 day stint and then be released.  The funny part was that she went to vet school at WSU (Washington State University for you non-Pacific Northwesterners AND where Tofie was diagnosed with her spinal condition) of all places!  Small world.

The trip to the quarantine station and back is quite grueling.  Over an hour on trains- two trains with transfer and not an easy one at that and a taxi ride . Not sure how we are going to do this for 29 more days. I know we will make it work, but man, it sucks.
